Fajitas!


This is one of our all time favorite meals (especially for summertime).

1. Marinate meat. I like to use deer steaks sliced thin, but you can use anything, steak, chicken, etc..I don't ever measure the ingredients for the marinade, but you can hardly go wrong with this! The ingredients are: Lemon juice, oil, salt, lemon pepper (or Mrs. Dash, or something like it), & garlic powder. I like to marinate it over night, but you don't have to...



Put the meat and a little of the marinade in a skillet and cook it till it is about done.


Then slice up your veggies, I use green peppers, onions and broccoli. I have also put other things in like cauliflower... Use your imagination!


Then throw the veggies in the pan with the meat and I like to add some water, put the lid on and let them steam, they aren't greasy that way.


Serve with fresh tomatoes and sour cream, salsa or whatever you like!! Eat on a tortilla or rice- brown is my fave!!!
